Jonah’s favorite thing about baseball...playing dirt!

I promised to take some pictures of Jonah playing in the dirt at the baseball field and Saturday provided the opportunity. Knowing we were going to most likely be down at the baseball fields most of the day, he decided to bring his whole construction outfit! LOL! After mean old Mom and Dad said no, he managed to whittle it down to 3 large Tonka vehicles and a grocery sack full of smaller cars and trucks. He also brought along my small garden shovel so he could make better ditches and tunnels. He had quite the day and a miniature construction site going by the time we headed home later in the day. He was dirty, tired, and a little sunburned but totally joyful over all the digging he was able to do. I’m not sure who was more excited about the continued baseball practices for the all star team…Levi on the team or Jonah dreaming of expanding his construction site. Jonah is the boy on the left.
