They won… they lost… they played great ball!

We spent 10 hours at the baseball fields this past Saturday watching Levi and his team play 3 baseball games for the championship. The team lost the game on Friday night so that put them in the loser’s bracket playing Saturday morning. They won the game Saturday morning in 4 innings; Levi played catcher the whole game and really enjoyed it. By winning that game, they played in the championship game at 1:00 pm. So, after a short rest and some food, the boys all stepped up again. 2 ½ hours later, our team was the winner by 5 runs. YEAH! But, it also meant another game, as the tournament was a double elimination tournament, meaning you had to lose 2 games to be out. So at 3:15 pm the boys began another game. This game slipped by our guys, but they tried hard and played well. So, Levi’s team took second place in the local tournament and over all they boys played great ball. Now, we’re on to All Star practice that began last night, just 3 more weeks of baseball left then on to other summer activities. I think we can make it after all…LOL!
